DjChapica
Hi, I love Maxthon and Imgur, but sadly, Maxthon doesn't love Imgur and very often, it doesn't want to load gifs or pictures. For example, this page doesn't work correctly : http://imgur.com/gallery/bmFaD(it's a bunch of cat gifs). I'm getting tired of having to open up another web browser just to see some gifs and I'd love to see if there is already a fix or that the developpers will look for it. Thanks ! Page from your link works fine for me (all gifs displays with no problem)- and never have any problems with Imgur. What exactly is your problem with this link/ Imgur- explain more, please. Which Maxthon version you're running now? And in which mode you're trying to open this link- in Ultra or Retro? Try to disable ABP/ your extensions and try again. DjChapica
Hi again, The link is now working correctly. I don't really understand the cause of the problem with Imgur, but sometimes, when there is a gif on this website, it doesn't show at all even after refreshing the page. I'm running the latest version of Maxthon and I had already deactivated ABP for imgur. It doesn't always happen, but there is an exemple of what it looks when it does in the attached file. I reloaded the page 2 times and it doesn't change.

All gif's play just fine. Try the newest version posted today. http://dl.maxthon.com/mx4/mx4.4.7.3000.exe Windows 10 64-bit build 10525/Windows 10 Mobile build 10512

magg
I downloaded it and sadly, it doesn't solved the issue. 2015-09-11 10_35_32-about_blank.png Once again- in which mode you trying to open Imgur- Ultra or Retro? Do you have installed any extensions? If yes- try to disable them. You can also try this: From here http://dl.maxthon.com/mx4/maxthon_portable_4.4.7.3000.7z download portable Maxthon version. Unzip somewhere on disk, don't log in to your Passport, don't change any settings and don't install any extension. Then try again Imgur website. This isn't a problem with just Imgur, it also happens to me on Engadget.com and c/net.com(2 sites I frequent). Yes, I am in ultra mode. And as the OP states, it almost happens 50% of the time(at least it feels like that often). The difference is that on the sites I mention it is the images that don't show up, not just GIFs( often without place holders or (!) icon). Needless to say it is vary annoying, requiring a refresh. Perhaps a little insight, I often have a youtube video running in one window and load multiple(not hundreds, 2 or 3) sites in the background on a second or third Mx instance. Having said this, bandwidth shouldn't be too much of a problem as I have a plus 35Mb/s connection. Thing is, I can't remember this sort of thing happening in the past when my connection was much, much slower. And for the record, I'm quite sure it also happens even with a single instance of Mx running without video.
7twenty
As magg stated, try on a clean version of portable. Seeing as it doesn't seem to affect everyone, the only way to determine where the issue lies is to check with a known clean version of MX on the same system. That way you take out the variable of user settings/extensions etc being the cause.
DjChapica
So, it was indeed one of the parameter I had in Maxthon : The encoding was in Thai instead of Western ISO. Thanks all of you for your help !
