Dan
Hi folks -- I know this has been discussed before somewhere, but I continue to get high memory usage warnings with Maxthon. I have attached a screenshot. Is the only way to deal with this, shutting down ABP? Thanks

Tony
run a similar system - same ram and never seen that warning - i dont run maxthon with many tabs open - have the usual background stuff running plus a couple of programs and am using 35% memory if i open photoshop and a couple of other programs memory usage tops 40% so what are you running or do you have 100's of tabs open Tony - Vivaldi 4 on Windows 10 64Bit
Dan
I usually have 2-4 tabs open, sometimes 7-8. I just turned off ABP and the issues has not recurred, so I'll say if indeed that is the main issue...thanks
Dan
OK, I keep getting warnings about Maxthon being a memory hog, this is with or without turning ABP off. So, the mystery continues....
7twenty
I have had this on occasion, but not recently. Even now MX is using ~1500+mb (6gb RAM), and running a VM chewing about 2GB, but Windows hasn't complained yet. How long after you start Maxthon does the warning popup? How much memory is actually being used by Maxthon? Screenshot of task manager and/or resource monitor would be nice. Are you running extensions? If so, test with them disabled and see if it changes. Is there a site that you go to frequently that is ad heavy?
Dev CZ
What version are you using? Try reinstall to last version of Maxthon.
