Or maybe there is something wrong with your ROM (from what I know you have a lot of problems with Mx on your android device last time )? Did you try factory reset? Very often it helps with issues on Android Nothing to do with his ROM, initial suggestions all lead to yahoo regardless of search engine default. Not until you type a query do Google search suggestions appear. There is definitely a problem somewhere. Although it could be that the suggestions need a restart of the browser to display correctly?
