GadderXXL
Hi, after the latest update from 13. august 2015 to Maxthon Web Browser 4.5.1.2000, when I start it, it appears the message "click into the multi-window" (see attachment). I can touch everywhere but nothing happens! So the browser is unusable for me (and many more users, like I read in the reviews on "Google Play"). I use an Sony Xperia Z2 with Android 4.4.4 Hopefully the next (and quick!) update will solve the problem. Because at this time I can not use it! Best regards GadderXXL

BugSir007
Hi again, Here we just conducted a test with Sony Xperia and click on the settings button worked as expected. Please make sure you accurately touch where the arrow is indicating. Clicking other areas will not respond. Hope this information is useful for you. Have a nice time! GadderXXL
Hi BugSir007, thank you for your quick reply. Of course I have clicked in the field with the arrow at first , but nothing happened. On top of that I do not know what I expected. That means, what should happen after I click in the highlighted window? I have noticed, that when I press in the window and swipe my finger up/down, the grayed background-webside scroll up/down. And when a link is within the little window, I can click on it and the linked webside opened (grayed expect the highlighted window with the arrow)! Maybe it is very important and you should know, that I used the browser everytime in fullscreen mode before the update. That means I could only seen the website and when I clicked on a not linked free space on the website, it only appeard the little round button with the three stripes within. Only when I clicked the button the tab-bar appeared on top and the menu-bar below the screen. Now, when I click in the little window and can swipe the background, the three-striped button appears, but at a grayed location that I can't click. Befor the update, the button was variable. When I hold it, I could drag it around the screen (but then the tree stripes changed into a twisted reload-arrow, until I hold the button again 2-3 seconds, the it changed back to the tree stripes). So even if there is a possibility to deactivate the "multi-window" in settings, I can't reach the settings ! Oh and before I forget, the screen Rotation doesn't work anymore within the browser (at least with the grayed background). Hopefully this informations helps to solve the problem (that other users in "google play" also described). Thank you for your effort GadderXXL
GadderXXL
Problem solved! I have the app-data deleted (lost all my settings ). Then the click into the little window worked, a further introduction for the multi-windows appeared (swipe left-or-right). After this I could set my old settings again. Now the browser works as usual!
