Email notifier

Hi gang,

is it possible someone to write add-ons which will be able to check various email services and to show the notifications, like Gmail Notifier do? http://extension.maxthon.com/detail/index.php?view_id=1172

For hotmail ( outlook.com ), maybe also for POP3 or IMAP accounts etc?

I've asked on xnotifier forum, but it was told to me that because of maxthon IE based browser, xnotifier is difficult to make for maxthon.

p.s. facebook notifications of the new direct messages would be also very interesting to have in the sidebar. ;)

They apparently don't know that much about Maxthon then, tell them we also use the Webkit rendering engine.

Thanks No.1MaxthonFan. If you use xnotifier and have the access on the forum maybe, you could see that I've told them already exactly the same. ;P

I'll repeat that I've found that with webkit rendering engine it is actually possible to make xnotifier for maxthon. Thanks again pal.

Now I got the answer from one user, that he realized that because of webkit rendering engine it is possible to make available xnotifier for maxthon. We are waiting on answer from the owner.

We got the answer from the owner of xnotifier, that he is sorry and in the near future he don't have enough spare time to create add-ons for maxthon. :'(

Just to inform that I've found email notifier for hotmail, outlook, yahoo, gmail which has been already added into extension center

And it works like a charm.
