But the maxthon is crashed as I try to launch it. Is it not compatible with windows 8 or any other issues. I have downloaded the latest version of Maxthon but it still crashes. Otherwise go through the Troubleshooting thread and see what you can come up with. An invalid parameter was passed to a C runtime function with Maxthon compression module (maxzlib.dll). Looks like it was not using windows API correctly/suitable with Win 8 compatibility. You may need to set up the compatibility mode to make your Maxthon run normally. Right click the Maxthon icon on desktop > Properties > Compatibility > Switch the Compatibility mode into Win 8.
