joemax
Where did you get your Maxthon installation from?
7twenty
That looks like quite an old version of Maxthon. I'd recommend downloading the most recent release and installing that. Hopefully it will also solve the issue you are having. Latest version here

7twenty
Seeing as it doesn't happen when using a VPN i'm thinking it's possible the URL required for search suggestions is being blocked by your ISP for some reason. When you type into the address bar do you get search suggestions there as well with and without VPN?
Ravi Kd
i get suggestions only when i connect to vpn
7twenty
Didn't answer the last question, but anyway... When not using the VPN, can you do the following:Open a cmd window (Start > Run > cmd.exe)Enter the command, ping api.bing.com, press Enter and post the information that shows. It should look similar to the following:Pinging api.bing.com [191.234.5.80] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 191.234.5.80: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Reply from 191.234.5.80: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Reply from 191.234.5.80: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128 Reply from 191.234.5.80: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128If it doesn't and you get any sort of error then it's probably being blocked by a firewall rule, which should be fixable. Or your ISP, which if this is the case then there is nothing that can be done.
