otetas Posted May 8, 2015 Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 Using the latest beta, by having 4 tabs open (2 forums with no images whatsoever, 1 youtube tab with video running, and a tab with a forum with images) im having this: I'm sorry but this dosn't seem right. Even with the new browser "Vivaldi" with the same pages it dosnt eat me half of that RAM. This is starting to get to Chrome levels :O Anyone noticed this with the latest beta version or is it just me? Btw, i have a clean install for 4.4.5.1200. Some of Maxthon's memory usage is pre-alocated, go ahead and open up a few more instances and you will see virtually no difference in amount of memory being used. Does your version is the latest? Huge RAM? Those are KB, hardly MB or GB. Some of Maxthon's memory usage is pre-alocated, go ahead and open up a few more instances and you will see virtually no difference in amount of memory being used. Its counting on KB yes, but maybe you're mistaking the "." for a "," wich it isnt in the case for microsoft, so in fact 504.036KB is in fact roughly 500MB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
