Fatman
Until Google closes this tiny loophole, you can use this link for the good ol' one-screen sign-in: https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=grandcentral&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/ The way I came up with this link was after I noticed my Google Voice ("grandcentral" above) was still using the old sign-in page, then just a few mins ago after reading this topic I decided to do some genetic experimentation and attached a totally unrelated "continue=" tag to it. It worked!
massimomaxthon
great !!!! but when it comes out (maybe to get into another account) will return to the usualscreen, then it defeats the utility. however, it is already something good
Fatman
If you setup an alias "gm" for that link, then it's very quick to re-login to one of your other Gmail accounts (I personally have about 10 that I use on a weekly basis). Just make sure to always uncheck "Stay signed-in" before hitting the Sign-in button. The switching from account to account should be done via Maxthon's Magic Fill (double-clicking inside Email field to see all site-specific (Google) Magic Fill matches) rather than the Google multi-account interface. At least that's how I make it work for me... But really, the future should be for Maxthon to recognize these multi-step login scenarios. It should be relatively simple to do algorithmically. I'm gonna predict that other big boys (Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Facebook) will copy this multi-step login scheme in the coming years for similar reasons to Google's. Fatman
A new method I've devised which works as of right now: URL Alias gmo (which stands for Gmail Out) links to https://accounts.google.com/logout URL Alias gm (which stands for Gmail) links to https://gmail.com (without www). Whenever you want to switch Gmail accounts, type gmo <enter> in address bar (or manually sign-out of the current Google account), and then type gm <enter> in the address bar. You should then see the good old one-screen sign-in page. Just make sure to always uncheck "Stay signed-in" before hitting the Sign-in button. If you forget, then manually sign-out of the "remembered" account, click "Sign in with a different account", then click Remove and remove all remembered Google accounts (cookies). Fatman
Go to Maxthon Settings | Address Bar | URL Alias | Add. Alias: gmo URL: https://accounts.google.com/logout Same idea for the other one.
npo33770
Thanks, but dont work, the only way seems to work, its turn to retro mode
Fatman
There's no need to use retro mode. Make sure you not only sign-out of your account, but also remove any "remembered" Google accounts. Manually sign-out of the "remembered" account. Click "Sign in with a different account". Click Remove. Remove all remembered Google accounts by clicking on the X that now appears next to them. Next time you sign-in to a Google account, make sure to always uncheck "Stay signed-in" before hitting the Sign-in button. At that point you should be able to use "gm" to sign-in, and "gmo" to sign-out of your different Google accounts. And again I'll clarify: you'll always need to use "gm" to sign-in...no matter how you signed-out, because a sign-out will always automatically redirect you to the wrong sign-in page... Edit: As of this morning 7/24/15 EST, the http://gmail.comredirect trick is no longer working. Right now I'm close to the point of changing all my Gmail passwords to a single (shared), strong password, and enter this password as a new Magic Fill "General Identity" called "Gmail accounts"... Though that may not be necessary just yet. I've noticed that if I have a few remembered accounts (I see the "Choose an account" page as shown in the picture attached), then I can double-click on the password field and select any of my Gmail accounts (stored in Magic Fill). Despite showing a different Email address and name, if you selected the "password" for a different Email account, apparently behind the scenes it also pushes the Email address associated with it, since it'll log-in to that account!
