I don't always want a new page opening in a tab. I like to have a few instances of my browser open in different windows where I can click on them and organise them better. Really sorry, at the moment maxthon does not provide an option to open a link in anew window. If you want to have several windows, you could go to Maxthon main menu(upper right corner of the browser)--locate new window and select between Normal,Private and Session.
