You can either disassemble your mouse and follow some YouTube tutorials, or go to settings and in "Tab bar" uncheck "Double-click to close tab" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can either disassemble your ... Since it doesn't occur on other apps (like Eclipse, which also allow to double-click and middle-click on tabs), I don't think it's a hardware problem. Please unctick that option in closed tab acti ... double click on Eclipse's tabs maximizes the window to (almost) full screen, and I never saw such a thing occurs. middle click on Eclipse's tabs closes them.
