Private Mode lose Cookie

Recommended Posts

Sinces Maxthon 4.4.2.600 version, Maxthon Private Mode will lose Cookie when using.

For test:

Sign in Google , using Gmail or any other service, minimize and do not do anything for 3 ~ 5 minitues(not sure).

You will get a Sign out message.

Click Sing in again, it will show you Browser Cookie was disabled.

The only way is close Private windows and open a new one.

I know it is realy difficult to test.

Because it is irregular, sometimes 1 mins, 3mins... but it happened to me.

System:

Win 7 32-bits, Mx 4.4.2.600

Win 8 64-bits, Mx 4.4.2.600, Mx4.4.2.800

Finally, you are not alone, and it has been driving me very mad because the problem is there forever even before version Mx 4.4.2.600, recently the problem occurs like million times more often. I found IE to be more stable and faster than maxthon.

To be more specific, is using private mode in portable Maxthon. Last time I wanted to submit this bug but I was prompted to validate my email address first, but during that time I couldn't make it and I was very frustrated. Not to mention that I can't insert the security Q&A whileusing IE!

I know the cause of this problem: when the process crashes (tab refreshing) it clears all the cookies from private browsing, but also won't enable it back, and there's no way to enable it back unless you close the private browsing window and open a new one
