Maxthon for Windows doesn't support Chrome extensions.
Your link leads to extensions for Maxthon for Mac. ( http://www.maxthon.com/mac/ext/ )
Mx for Macintosh has of course the ability to install some .crx/ Chrome extension.
Sorry for your confusion.

There is no Ghostery extension for Maxthon.
And you can't install Chrome addons into Mx - Maxthon doesn't support them.

It's clearly shows this problem is related to Maxthon only.
All these quality options are available in all other browsers - except Mx.
Tried with Opera 40, Slimjet 10, Chromium 53 - so all of them with up to date Blink core.
Works just fine also with FF 47, Edge, IE 11 and Mx in Retro Mode - so browsers which use different engines like Gecko, Trident also don't have such problems...
So it could be related to Blink 39 core or option that Mx doesn't support - as you pointed in your post.

Today (28.06) all YT videos plays with Mx (clean portable) without all quality settings (only 360p and 720 are available)!
Browser restart does nothing
this time.
Of course with all other browsers this issue doesn't occurs.

This issue occurs very randomly .
Here is example video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBNS2XhIajU.
As you can see on 2nd screen quality options are missing on Mx 4.9 (clean install, without Passport or extensions...)
The first screen is taken from Opera 40 ♥ (all available options are there).
Tried with different custom UA's - no go.
After several Maxthon's restarts all quality options show up as should it be.

Add some slash " / " to site address. (example : http://///////////www.youtube.com/)
It should does the job.
Be sure that you have enabled "screenshot" option instead "tile" in QA settings.

Check carefully my screenshots from previous post!
In previous Mx version when you click right mouse button on whatever link on (for example) deviantart.com or http://www.gry-online.pl/ there is option to "open link in a new tab"
Now, in current Mx build devs remove this function! Now when you right click on link on deviantart it shows only options to save image and so one.
That's the problem.
Now the only way to open that links in new tab is click on middle mouse button/ scroll.
The point is that a lot of laptops don't have middle mouse button ( for example my crappy 2014' Dell at work)
Clear enough now?!

What about Mx users with laptops? Very often they use only touchpad without scrool/ middle mouse button. How they can open links in a new tab then?!

Do you know how very inconvenient is browsing now without this feature?! ALL other browsers have this option but of course not Maxthon...
And you still wonder why you losing user base...
Keep it up Mx Team!
For 12 years of continuous Maxthon use and support finally decided to change browser.

Ok I decided to add my bugs to this topic.
So...
In this beta open links in new tab via right click doesn't work well if we compare it to previous Mx version.
There is "Save image" options instead "Open link in new tab".
It happens on a lot of websites.
Check screenshots for comparision/ more details, please.
Two example links :

IMHO this change is very inconvenient.
