Why make it mandatory to use Bright VPN for Magnet downloads? Just because no one wants to use your Bright VPN? Stupid. Why does Magnet downloads work in Microsoft Edge without any additional apps? Fix it.

Use default MX7 UA (user agent). It's old known problem with changed UA.

Loading magnet links still doesn't work. Bright VPN installation is still required. Even when you enable advanced loading, when you click on a magnet link, a pop-up window opens again asking you to go to settings and enable advanced loading with Bright VPN installation. Just make it possible to load magnet links without enabling any additional advanced loading and without Bright VPN, as it is implemented in Microsoft Edge. Why are you complicating everything? Nothing was fixed. The problem is still the same. Make it possible to download magnet links without installing the bright vpn program and its extension. Well, I don't need your bright vpn.

Hello! When clicking a 'magnet' link, one is informed 'enhanced download' needs to be enabled... The instructions say it's in "Settings-Function Management", but it isn't (there's no such location under settings!), it's under "Features" & even then requires the 'questionable' "Bright VPN" to be enabled too. There's an "Open Settings" button, but clicking it does nothing...

What for? This is useful extension and I need it. This can be done easily in the code!! The maximum width of the menu and the overflow/text-overflow parameter must be set . Line spacing is set by line-height parameter That's it. They're just lazy and don't care. When I was making skins for Max, I was constantly correcting their numerous css and html bugs. Unfortunately, this is not possible now. You can only edit modules in the webui folder. But my interest disappeared a long time ago.

I'm unaware if other browsers restrict magnet link functionality behind premium or paid features. If so, I find this practice unacceptable, and it discourages me from using the browser.

Hello, I have a problem with my accounts. In maxthon_portable_7.3.1.3600 when I launched the program, I had to choose which account I wanted to use and even create another account (see fig. 1) but since the update to version maxthon_portable_7.3.1.3800, this window has disappeared. Now, as soon as I launch Mx, it is the window (see Fig. 2) that appears. In this window, there is only the registered account. The guest account is gone, and I can't even create new accounts. The version maxthon_portable_7.3.1.4000 is not able to correct the issue. What happened developers? Why are there still issues related to accounts in some versions of Maxthon? It is as if patch updates always destroy something in the program. That is very sad. For now, I'm going back to the version maxthon_portable_7.3.1.3600 until the next update. Even though I really like it very much Maxthon, it's these kinds of problems that prevent me from using the installable version or putting maxthon as the default program. I agree. I have one browser for streaming DRM protected content, a different browser where I need to stay logged into Google and other services, and finally a third that is set to delete all cookies and data on exit. "Siloing" my online data and using different browsers that have different strengths is powerful and liberating. One downside is needing plenty of RAM, but I manage with 16GB.

The days where only one Browser Rules is over Nowadays you have to have all possible browsers installed and each will serve for some needs

If the quick access data of the new tab page restored to the default, you can 1. Exit the browser 2. Open the installation path, such as C:\Users\lenovo\AppData\Local\Maxthon 3. Open the account folder, find the folder "Backups" > "QuickAccess," select one backup file which you'd like to restore, rename it to "QaConfig.dat," 4. Back to your browser account folder, open the folder "QuickAccess," use the backup file to replace the current one. 5. Restart the browser To check the installation path, you can run the Maxthon 6 installation package.
