I think more care should be taken with translations. Since the first version 7, many options and labels still have no translation. In "Settings" there is an unsightly mix of languages. The main screen settings are all still without translation, including the "Quick access" text. A new problem in 7.0.0.1200 is the insufficient width of the rectangle for the download removal options:

I have been using Maxthon since the beginning (MyIE2) and I can affirm that it is currently the best browser that a user can use. I got very frustrated during the time when some versions of Maxthon 6 crashed frequently, and all this despite the Chromium version. The differential fact for me is having at my fingertips all my bookmarks, my accessories and my configuration in general. I use it on several computers and even several versions without problems, except for one (the office at work) because it belongs to a domain that, for some reason, has not allowed me to run Maxthon since a few months, although it does allow me to run any other Internet browser. It's something I can't control and I can't think of a way to use it there. I have tried to change the name of the EXE file, but the powerful security system catches it and refuses to execute it without any warning message and without entering into the Task Manager. I have tried the most widely used browsers in the world (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and I have also tried other minority ones such as Aloha, Vivaldi, Slimjet or Brave. However, with none of them I feel as comfortable as with Maxthon. Being free software, I am very grateful to the developer team and, although there is always some improvement to be made, I prefer Maxthon over any other. I wholeheartedly thank the team and its engineers.

Hello! The copyright date used to just be the current (local clock) year, so if set incorrectly to 2030, Maxthon would show (c) 1999-2030. It doesn't do that now, but you might want to update 2022 to 2023!

Team, As allways, thanks for your effort maintaining MX. Is a good thing to keep short weekly releases! But..... - are youworking on new features, or just bug fixing? - can you share some roadmap of features you are working on? - why not allow the community to vote on next features? Really all the work you have done on de QA page.... Also, having configurable features to setup square or roundend box search.....seems items not too important. Anyway, thanks again.

Fix the specified bug. \Maxthon\Application\7.0.0.1200\webui unpack the download archive, open the css folder and look for the line in the index.css file .download-header-remove-menu{position:fixed;top:60px;right:10px;width:150px; in it we change width: 150px; on width:250px; save, archive with the 7z archiver and get the result. I am attaching the already corrected archive download.7z

Hello! On QA, the shortcuts with 'Suggested Image' are now just showing a blurred empty box... Change that to 'Color' (which is still spelt wrong for UK English) are get: If setting to 'Site Shot' it seems to work, eventually, but not quickly

you're welcome, I had to dig for that option myself when they changed tabs feature. @BugSir006 feature request : can the devs add the hidden `mx://flags/#scrollable-tabstrip` and `mx://flags/#scrollable-tabstrip-buttons` options to the maxthon settings ui ? (that would solve post 142378 request) the tab scrolling feature is not expermiental, it was the 'legacy' behavior before maxthon v6.xxx overhauled the tabs to be multiline. I prefer using tab scrolling and can confirm it's production-ready and bug free.

1. Just Right Click on the Tab Bar and you can disable the Search Bar. I do, don't need it. 2. Go to Settings/Tabs to Enable the feature.

There are still problems with determining the correct location to display the weather at the start page.

Uh... This isn't what we were asking for. It's sort of "HALF" of what we were asking for. What we were asking for is to be able to on Hover of the Tab to be able to "Middle Mouse Button Scroll" the Tabs (Left and Right)... Including the tabs in the dropdown when you have too many tabs open. We don't really need the tab to "activate" on hover (thought maybe somebody wants this). Though they do in a way for them to Scroll Left and Right. I mean, there's really little need for the tab to activate on hover, because we can simply CLICK on the tab to activate it. Though, I could see someone might want this if they don't want to "accidentally" close tabs, if for example they "disabled" or otherwise in some way. So, not against having the feature, just not sure on the "priority" of it? Though I suppose if there was such a person it could be a priority to them, but then I would just say they should deactivate the Double-Click to close setting then they won't have a problem. So wth??? Why do you add something that's NOT actually a priority for most people? Here's a video example of what we are asking for...

Middle mouse click not working properly on QA page

Hello @BugSir006, just a comment on the user experience of managing the search engines. For some time now I'm very cautious around the "Restore" link in the top right corner of the search engine list. I'm really not going to test its functionality now since in the past it immediately and without asking erased all my manually predefined engines (tens of them) 😐 Unless this has already been dealt with, could you please consider either removing the "Restore" link altogether (users would still be able to remove the unwanted engines one by one) or add some kind of warning notification when clicking on the Restore link, something like "Do you really want to remove all your custom search engine definitions? Yes/No"? Thanks in advance for looking into this.

I agree. Modifying a browser isn't as easy as just adding a few lines of code and if it were, anyone could do it, but not anyone can. When things are changed, it takes a lot of time testing to make sure it's going to work and even then, it doesn't always work for everyone because people tend to modify their systems which can create havoc and break things. The majority of complaints I've seen here don't apply to my install of Maxthon. I click on a link posted as not working and it works fine for me, so I don't know what to tell them.

Hi Mapantz, we did reproduce the issue on our end and thus have reported it to the team for further check. Usually you should be able to click on the notification and it should bring you to the dedicated link upon clicking.
