I have identified the cause of the crashes. While browsing one page, if I set a tab open for another page to auto-refresh (e.g., every 30 or 60 seconds), a crash occurs after a few minutes (perhaps 3–4 minutes).
This issue also occurs in other versions.

It doesn't matter which page it is; open 4 or 5 tabs, set one to auto-refresh every 30 seconds, and then browse normally in another tab—you will see Maxthon crash after the second auto-refresh.
