Hello, I would like to report a bug in Maxthon 7.5.2.9000 regarding tab switching behavior after closing a tab.
Settings used:
Close tab -> Right-click to close tab -> After closing the current tab, activate: Tab to the right
The Issue:
This feature does not work properly when the tab bar is completely full (many tabs are open).
When the tab bar is full and I close a tab, the remaining tabs shift unexpectedly. Instead of activating the tab to the right, the tabs from the left shift into the empty space. As a result, the browser incorrectly activates the tab to the left.
Expected behavior:
All tabs to the left of the cursor should freeze in place. They should not resize or move at all while the cursor is still hovering over the tab bar. Only the tabs on the right should shift, allowing the "tab to the right" logic to work correctly and preventing accidental shifting under the mouse pointer.
Could you please look into this and fix it in the upcoming updates?
