Fix short (about few ms long) screen flickering when watching pages which happens sometimes. Also strang issue that sometimes Maxthon don't want to load site font and uses default:
The resource https://xxx.xxx/fa-regular-400.woff2?_v=5.12.1 was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window's load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally

Don't expect these new devs to morn on the good old days and compete with the rapid growing world
with AI taking control they don't seem to incorperate it or at least benefit out of it to make Maxthon the best browser
I think they are trying to benefit financially instead

Hi Maxthon Team,

Thanks for the update and ongoing improvements in the 7.5.2.7200 Beta release.

I would like to report a few observations while testing this version:

Download Manager Duplicate Entries Issue
The download manager sometimes creates duplicate or multiple entries for the same file without any additional downloads happening. This makes the list confusing, especially when downloading larger files. It would be helpful if the system could better track active download sessions and avoid repeated entries for the same URL.
Missing Error Notification for Invalid URLs
When a download link is invalid or the file does not exist, the browser does not clearly show an error message. Instead, it simply fails silently. A proper error notification (like “File not found” or “Download failed”) would improve user clarity.
Session Restore Inconsistency
I also noticed an issue with session restore behavior. Sometimes the browser restores the last session correctly, but other times it only loads the previous session instead of the most recent one. This appears inconsistent and may be related to shutdown timing or session saving delay.

Overall, the beta is performing well, but these issues affect daily usability. I hope the team can look into them in upcoming fixes.

FEATURE REQUEST:

Can we LOCK Tab groups somehow so that loading external links or opening a new tab doesn't get added to the group that you happen to be currently in or last active?

The goal here would be to keep your groups clean. If I have 5 tabs in 1 group and the group is locked and I click the + button to open a new tab. that new tab should be forced OUTSIDE a locked group. Unless explicitely dragging a tab into a group, it should not get added.

Tab grouping is a very nice feature but you're constantly doing cleanup for new tabs that got added excidently. You started with a nice 5 tabs group, at the end of the day it's 15 unrelated stuff in that group. 🙁
