Dlaczego zespół Maxthona ogranicza możliwość darmowego pobierania dla użytkowników mimo , że w poprzednich wersjach była ta funkcja za darmo zamiast oferować coraz więcej funkcji . Kiedyś Maxstchon był takim "szwajcarskim scyzorykiem" w którym było wszystko co było potrzebne za darmo i przez to górował i wyróżniał się nad innymi przeglądarkami ,teraz powoli staje się jedną z wielu. Dodatkowo Resource Sniffe nie zawsze działa prawidłowo ,chcąc pobrać wyodrębniony plik w Resource Sniffe często występuję błąd pobierania. I jeszcze jeden problem został nierozwiązany przyciskając przycisk POBIERZ na pasku pływającym pojawiająca się plansza nadal nie jest przetłumaczona język Polski tylko jest w języku Chińskim.

TomHardy The changelog states that "Maxthon members now have free access to multi-threaded downloads. Non-members can apply for gold to enable multi-threaded downloads." I have a question: how can I be a Maxthon member and have free access to downloads? A non-member is required to pay. Why does the Maxthon team limit free downloads for users, even though they use this feature for free instead of offering more and more features? It used to be a "Swiss Army knife" that had everything needed for free, which made it superior and stand out from other browsers. Now it's slowly becoming one of the few. Resource Sniffe doesn't always work properly; when trying to extract a file in Resource Sniffe, I often get a download error. Another issue remains: when pressing the DOWNLOAD button, the malware that appears on the screen is still not translated into Polish, only in Chinese.

Magdelene I think it is time to move on. There is few good browser with much better support. There is 1 or 2 options that I couldn't find in any other browser, but I think I will be forced to live with if its keep going like this. I am always jealous when I see other browsers getting proper support.

Back when the first version from the Maxthon 7.5 series was released (Version 7.5.2.1001), I posted about the core switching / Retro mode not working anymore. I have now tried 7.5.2.6600 and I see it is still not fixed. Websites that require Internet Explorer mode to open correctly simply don't work with Maxthon's Retro mode anymore. In Edge's Internet Explorer mode they do work correctly. I have several Dahua surveillance cameras that I need to access via Retro / IE mode. Will this ever work in Maxthon again? Already got Waterfox. Been for over 10 years as my Firefox type browser. Pale Moon is good as well For FF browsers.

I've been using MX since MX2, but I used and use other browsers because they offered/offer different things or worked/work better on certain websites due to their different rendering engines. Opera works best for UK government sites (i.e Taxes) for example. The difference in browsers is getting less with the use of scripts and extensions although the arrival of Manifest 3 has degraded many extensions.

The Quick Access tiles which are set to have "Suggested image" as a thumbnail, have stopped working 2 days ago on Maxthon versions prior to 7.5 series. Will this be fixed or will old Maxthon version stay broken like this?

Yes, me too! I have v. 7.3.1.8800 and quick access thumbnails from Google (Gmail & YouTube) disappeared from about a week ago.
