Maxthon v7.5.2.6000 (64-bit) 0316 07:29.
Download manager: there's no indicator for the lower right corner to show the box may be resided & although one can widen from the right, one can't extend the length without using the lower right corner.
When opening a folder for a downloaded file & renaming that file, the download manager still shows the old file name, in bold, which is no longer present (unlike v7.5.2.5800 & earlier).
Massive surprise (not!), but the 'new' download manager still shows duplicate entries, which aren't removed when clearing the list, but aren't present upon restarting Maxthon, as ever (been doing this since Maxthon v6), confirming a caching issue

Why did you remove the option to open the file after downloading???? Now you have to go to your download list or folder to open a file!

This should be the same translation. Fix it in the "newtaskdownload" package file (string.ru-RU.js / string.en-US / etc.)

In new MX download manager when file from HDD was deleted it doesn't have grey out effect now for new download (strange but for old dowloads in list this effects persists). Now it seems that I can't just open file without adding it to download list (before there were choice dialog to open or save file that I clicked with mouse button).

First link indeed worked ONCE after system restart. After that I'm still getting

It seem the reliable way to see the error is to go to lowes or homedepot home page and then click on any product.
Bot links work fine in MS edge. I don't have Chrome installed. I thought that all these browsers use the same engine. Also as I've mentioned previous version of Maxthon 7.3 worked fine also. Disabling all extensions did not help.

I advice to test better new download manager since it have problems to correct display download list when multiple downloads are running (new items may not show until some of downloads was finished), Sometimes when in fact big file was fully downloaded it still shows in progress and I can't delete it from download list until MX7 was restarted.
Also right mouse button click menu is cut off if I click at the item that is not at top of the list but somewhere in the middle:

Please bring back the "Open" button in the download manager!!! It can open a file withowt saving on the disk. It was very useful for me.

I had to revert to 5800 version because new download manager full of bugs and main one is not finished (in progress status) almost always download of big files while for real it was done and file was saved to HDD, Also size of download manager window is too small (even if switch it to private mode or how it was called with small thubmnails) and shows about twice less items because of smaller high (width are also small but I forgot to try to check if it changeable like in 5800 version). So only advantage I saw is better dark theme support without white borders but its not worth with such bad DM.

Hello!
When downloading a file where the same filename already exists in the last used folder, the filename is modified to include numbers at the end... this shouldn't happen until the 'Download' button is clicked as one may well be about to browse to a different folder, where that filename may not already exist. This is the same issue you had last time you changed the download manger. Obviously, like I suspect ALL Maxthon users will say, removing the 'Open' button for downloads was a mistake.

What a dreadful piece of crap this new download manager is... you seem to have added back in all the bugs & issues you previously had & (eventually, after many people complained for a long time) fixed... it's also added back in the wrong image for ".exe" files:

Regarding the auto-renaming of files before selecting the download folder, I will report this behavior to the development team so they can look into improving it. And yes, as mentioned before, the 'Open' button is definitely coming back in the upcoming updates! 🚀

As for the download manager, a lot has already been said here, but I have a question: why are the downloaded files' icons so large? While the icon itself could remain the same size, the area it's placed in takes up three times more space than the icon itself? 🙁

Thx, this one much better but when I press open instead download it downloads file in default download location but in earlier versions it was saved to OS Temp folder. Actually I dunno what is better, just letting you know my experience of usage new version. Also deleted from HDD download list entiries (files was deleted long time ago) in this version suddenly appeared at the top of the download list and not in date order like before.
Found a bug, sometimes it shows this in download manager now (0 size and 0% which is wrong):
