I managed to get rid of the black camera icon that appeared when I tried version 4800. I installed Maxthon 5000 portable in a virtual machine in the same directory as the PC causing the problem. Once Maxthon synchronized the shortcuts, bookmarks, and general settings in the virtual machine, I manually copied the USER DATA folder and replaced it on the problematic PC. At the same time, I copied the files from version 5200 portable, and the mysterious icon no longer appears. The only side effect I've experienced is that I've lost passwordless access to websites like YouTube, Gmail, Google, etc., but the message box with the username (or email address) and password still appears, meaning it's not necessary to type them (just confirming them with a click).
