I have tried beta 3.... right after installation, I was a little bit disappointed.

Windows 7 (64-bit)'s UAC still complain about the program and ask if I allow Mx2 to change my computer settings.
Even I start Mx2 as admin (right-click the M2 icon in Win's start menu), the same problem occurs.

There is no such problem in beta 1 (which I immediately re-install after seeing the problem in beta 3) and it starts to happen in beta 2.
It works! Well done Maxthon!
why is gmail still acting weird?
the buttons which should be in a row, all pile up?
Would please tell somebody the devs to don't force any plugins on their customers. If I want a facebook plugin, I download it or at least want to be asked when the browser installs itself on my computer.

Stop making Maxthon some kind of maleware/scamware.

Thanks fro this new version. It works great. Especially, I like the way it loads on my slow  computer.
My operating system is Windows XP.

For those using beta 3 and find it works greate, are you using Win7??

Anyone here using Win7 does not encounter the "UAC warning" as I do?
I'm using Windows 7 x64. The first thing I did after upgrading to Windows 7 from Windows XP was to disable UAC completely. It constantly interfered with a lot of things. If I'm an administrator and I have write rights on a folder I want to save whatever I want in that folder and not want to get error messages from programs because they cannot write into that folder.

So I disabled that crappy UAC and never had any problems again.
roboform doesn't work in this version again :(
I have Windows 7 Ultimate and I don't have any errors at all!

And SoundCloud is working now for the first time on maxthon, thx!

I'm on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and have had no problems with this version.  The one "bug" I thought I found was not a "bug" after all.

I notice permanent favicon problem on those sites. MX3 has no problem with both mentoined websites.

To me this problem is not solved yet but there is a workaround to it.
Go to the Setup Center and change the user-agent to that of IE7.

That did the job for me.
Wish if it is possible to only change the user-agent when at Gmail only.
Hoping that some later build will fix this problem without tweaking any option.

Maxthon 2.5.14.256 Unicode | IE 8 | Windows 7 Pro x64| E6550 | 4GB ram | M2 Suggestions

Everything works so far, Gmail page looks fine (Win7 IE8)

1 strange thing is, sometimes a page comes up blank. I can make it appear by clicking another tab, then come back to it. It usually takes from 1-3 tries to make the page appear. Anyone else?
Yes, that's the blank page bug. It's been around for quite some time. The core reason is the same as for the focus bug: Devs thought it would be a great idea to completely change the method of displaying webpages. They didn't ask the user before implementing the changes. But why should they.

Maxthon downloader

The problem is when I try to download files from gmail with Maxthon downloader It only download the link of the file and not the file itself.

When I download the file without the maxthon downloader there is no problem.

when it

will be ready for use (rc or final release)

what is your UAC setttings?

I don't think disabling UAC is a proper way to solve the problem that I have.

Can someone from the development team confirm if this is a problem only happens to me or they have aware of this problem already.
