Some of the bookmarklet buttons (Zap colors) and plugin-based javascripts (More Scripts) don't work with this version.

What about User Experience Improvement Program? When install I check NO but after install this option is ON in setup center..

Right-click the menu toolbar, select "Add or Remove buttons" and then select the "Reset" option on this menu.

These options are not on the blink, they've been removed a while back already, so you will also probably need to reset the Main toolbar and the statusbar to see the new added buttons.

I've tried explaining this already before in the private forum. it is not so much a bug as misunderstanding.

The installer will never touch existing profiles when selecting a setting on the installer as default. These choices will only apply to new created profiles.

And because existing profiles may not have the setting anymore, the display state in Maxthon Setup center will show the default setting (which is "On") and not the setting chosen as default from the installer.

As this still apparently is confusing enough, I would suggest to the devs that Maxthon Setup Center should look at the default profile settings in case profile settings can be changed during installation. So that in the case of settings missing in a profile, the retrieved default setting corresponds to the state chosen during installation.

Which scripts in More Scripts don't work? In my case the Zap colors bookmarklet is not working in IE as well.

I've upgraded to 2.5.9.2246 with a fresh install and Maxthon is now freezing when I try to install a plugin.

You expect that every time someone posts a positive blog about Maxthon.  Most of them have probably tried it for a whole 5 minutes or not even at all.  They're angry with their own life and take out their anger on anything positive.

Float Button is now worse than in version 2.5.8.
In version 2.5.9 you only have the option "Copy"; and I have to change to the default skin otherwise I don't see the Floppy-icon on the float button.

In version 2.5.8 you have more options in the floating button such as Zoom In & out, Copy URL, Restore and Block Ads.
Where have all these options gone in 2.5.9.

I'll stick with 2.5.8 for now...
