clicking, double clicking and tripple clicking in the address field is still very buggy. Sometimes it works and sometimes it selects just part of the text.

* Single clicking should mark all text in the address fiels (sometimes it deselects part of the text)

* Double clicking should mark a word between delimiters. (sometimes it only selects part of the word). Delimiters are not 100% correct either.

* Tripple clicking should mark everything in the address field. Sometimes it deselects part of the text.


writing http://www.something.net or something else, the url suggestion will show http://www.something.net.com (here you should turn off the domain suggestion as soon as a user has typed in a top domain) (.com .se .net .info .co.uk, etc)

With this version I can finally login to my account either from work. But I cannot sync favourites. It stays always in "Fetching version info..." status. (with version 2.5.7/8 i can login and sync favourites but not settings)

Avatar doesn't show like it did before.  Yes, It shows me as logged in, but no avatar.  I may forget who I am.

UPDATE: sometimes it show the last favourites update date, and let me start download them, but the download process never end...
Here the avatar is shown, but it appears about 40/50 secs after M3 start

I am happy for new version of M3
but have some (-)
1. the avatar doesn't wants to show  
2. the search bar (Ctrl + F) last looked great   and now look like from Office 2003, why

but got some (+)
1.now u must klick on favorites to shol list and they are not-disappearing after remove cursor

I am having high hopes around will fix it

UPDATE: ok, the search bar is ok. Probably something  was wrong with my version   and i try restart M3 for misin avatar (hoping that he will fix it) but not, even after 10 min doesn't want to show

Text captioning problems:
There is no space between "byte" word and a number (showed in picture below)
Also, it should state "bytes" (in plural) instead of "byte"

Since the installer can remember (or read from registry) that Maxthon 3 is not the default browser, it should remember how I set the other three settings.

Also avatar works for me.

V8 is from Google, also struck me, because before JavaScript engine was from Apple.

MX3 is using a custom Webkit engine. Most of the changes made by Maxthon can be found in MX3's Changelogs.

Webkit has a WebCore and a JavascriptCore. At the moment MX3 is using the V8 javascript engine (same as chrome) for the JavascriptCore.

so, both maxthon3 and chrome are suppose to have about the same speed? then how come on the chorme experiments website, chrome seems to work better?

Do you compare 3.0.3.3 or previous versions? At the moment MX3 does not keep updating the engine for speed improvement.
