This is a special version for testing new feature, please install separately and do not overwrite the official version.

This version is based on 2.5.4 official version plus a new Video Popup feature for testing. To use this feature, Float button must be enabled in Maxthon Setup Center. After Float button is enabled, a video button will be shown on videos of supported sites when mouse hover:



Click on the video button will detach the video to a popup window:



The video window is set to topmost after detached. Topmost can be switched on/off with the "pin" button left to minimize button. When the video window is closed it will be re-attached to the original webpage. Currently the following websites are supported:

- fixed a focus problem caused by the video button
- fixed problem that video cannot detach by dragging

that's because there's mostly only ever one video embedded in a page to popup...at least if visiting the mentioned sites...those with embedded youtubes will likely only show one at a time indeed...but since it's probably only a handfull of folks watching multiple movies at once, my guess is this wasn't too high on the list.

Does work fine here, but i can get the button on videos only by pressing Ctrl+Alt.

(Uninstalled the previous 2.5.4.159 keeping config)

There is a Maxthon plugin which does the same and I use it all the time.
But would be great for Maxthon to come with such feature by default. =)

Past month i got the same issue, was fixed a couple of days after i reported it here http://forum.maxthon.com/viewthread.php?tid=69190&page=9&fromuid=1212179#pid459491  and now does work fine for me.


P.S. However the english file actually uploaded is for version 2.5.5.280, without video.

This feature is great. I like it.

I tested some websites.
The popup button works on www.indavideo.hu.
Also, please add support for videos of the following sites:
- www.videa.hu
- tv.gamestar.hu
- www.ign.com
- www.sporthirado.hu
- www.gametrailers.com

why do we have so many different versions of maxthon(normal,beta,floatbar,video and chinese for each) , and why none of the new features are available on the normal version?
