Here is an updated Maxthon 3.0 alpha 3 (3.0.0.119) with new Webkit for Ultra Mode.
The speed and stablity is greatly enhanced. Javascript execution speed accelerates by almost 50%
Also more than 60 bugfixes and improvements are included in this update.

This was reported in the internal test versions too... I think it broke around build 114-117. I think the developera are aware of it and it will be fixed

Good, but now in Ultra mode it is not getting proxy from IE settings anymore.

And bug with mouse scrolling of some pages with flash is still here. http://www.ndt-ed.org/GeneralResources/Calculator/calculator.htm - if you will go to the top of the page and make one move down of mouse scroll, the flash menu will not be scrolled with page.

In Turbo/Ultra Mode:

- When you open a webpage and switch to another application, M3 gets focus and comes forward when page sends the command "Done"..

Visit SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark, switch to another app. and see what I mean..

- Sometimes Context Menu (especially View Source and Find in Page) acts so slow and/or not responding.. I'm not sure, but probably this happens when it comes across a Flash element..

Can't duplicate either on Windows 7.  I went to your link and opened Excel, but Maxthon 3.0 never regained focus.  And the Context menu, etc. load just as fast as in Maxthon 2.5.2.xxxx

Clicking mark as read in Maxthon forum now redirects to main forum page with M3, wish it did with M1 and M2

Crap, that's not what's supposed to happen, Mark Read is supposed to leave you were you are...There's only one situation when Mark-Read is allowed to bring you back to the forum index, and that is within the Search result for New Posts

BTW. For those not having noticed, redirecting now also works in places such as after logon in this forum (on some sites it didn't work before)

a small request, PLEASE try not to repeat post bugs which have already been reported, and of course only if the bug was already known in the previous alpha)

the developers are aware of these but can only fix so much at a time.

I tried this page (and few more) on three PC, with XP. Even when there is no flash plugin installed, i can see white box with "to see this you need flash plugin" (or something like this, can't remember precisely) and the behavior of this box is the same.
Maybe it is problem of positioning of <object>...</object> element, dunno.
