Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 2 tests ended last month with thousands of users participating and contributing some very valuable suggestions and feedback. Now we are ready to test Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 3.
    Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 3 has fixed more than 50 bugs found in Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 2 and added some features to make it more stable than the previous version.
    Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 3 will be distributed to users only through the Maxthon Passport site and via e-mail invitations.  There is no other official means of distributing Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 3 to users.  Maxthon registered users who want to participate, can download Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 3 from the Maxthon Passport site or click here http://dl.maxthon.cn/mx3/mx3.0.0.112.exe .  Users who received an invitation for Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 2 will find a link to Maxthon 3.0 Alpha 3 in your e-mail inbox.
    As mentioned previously, Maxthon 3.0 is not as complete as Maxthon 2.x.  It only has the most basic features and may not meet your needs for daily use.  You may find it buggy and should not be used for critical tasks.  But, there are still many Maxthon fans who are willing to help us test Maxthon 3.0 and that’s a great way to collect feedback and make improvements.  For this evaluation, we are inviting users who we feel might be willing to evaluate Maxthon 3.0 Dual Mode technology in it’s early stages of development.

While Turbo Mode ON, Maxthon shows cached pages. When Turbo Mode is switched to Compatible one, the alpha browser shows refreshed pages. When Turbo Mode On again, old cached pages appear. Once Compatiable Mode is enabled, isn't it right to remove cached pages to be replaced to new ones?

I don't see what the big deal is about this build of max-3. I see no changes from the Alpha 2.
It looks like Chrome with a silver skin.
I read in the forum that the next build of Max 3 was suppose to have option available. well, where are they? I didn't find them any where.
It's not any faster on my cable connection than any other browser I'm using.
Like I said, big deal or is it? I say it's not really.
If the Maxthon 3 isn't going to progress from where it is at this time, I'm not going to use it.
I prefer the Maxthon 2.1.4.443 over all other builds. At least I can have the show window frame option in that build.
Make it better or just tell us to use google chrome. I hate google chrome.
And why does the Windows media video on webcam sites look like Windows media player 6 ?
I am very disappointed with Maxthon 3 at this point.

I see some have started to complain ...as usual. Max3 is what it purports to be at the moment - a toddler taking its first steps. Users shouldn't expect it to solve differential calculus before it is out of nappies.But heavens! Is is fast! The speed of page rendering is out of this world.Meanwhile, I just wanted to confirm... I can't manage my favorites, i.e. move them along the bar. Am I not seeing something or is it that it is just not possible yet?

Yes, it's still not possible, I believe that all of these options are there but have no UI yet.

Yes it is logical, with the experience of the Maxthon team, we should expect something better than this to begin with.

I downloaded the Alpha 3 because I wanted to see if it was any different. Too bad it isn't as far as the eye can see. Bug fixing isn't really apparent from looking at it.

Yes I would regret it too if I had been bragging about the browser & then have my opinion blown to bits by an average browser user like myself.

If my eyes can read properly, Maxthon3 is at an Alpha stage... Maxthon didn't have to invite beta users. We didn't have to accept the invite.

As fas as speed is concerned, the Turbo feature looks promissing.

BTW, my autohide on XP Home, SP3 doesn't always work with Maxthon3.

An alpha is an alpha, there is no "good" alpha release, and it certainly doesn't make sense that the  Maxthon team should make better alpha releases, you clearly don't know how the developement of a software works.

Have you actually tried the alpha release of M2? stability-wise M3 is incredibly stable for an alpha, that IS hard work. do you have to see a UI change to consider it an improvement?

This alpha show exactly the same issue with taskbar preview than Mx2. I really hope you fix it one day!
