Not radically changed from the default except:
- bookmark bar is hidden
- status bar is 6 px narrower
- search bar is 40 px wider
- new tab "+" button is hidden
- standard buttons are rearranged
- turbo/compatible mode button icon only;
- add context menu to search bar (paste & go doesn't work);
- narrower context menu;

I changed the UI documents. The UI documents are defined by html and css, and zipped in the resource.

The only thing i find in the MxUI.dll file is UPX0 and UPX1, which I can't do anything with. They don't seem to be zipped... Do i need to un-upx them somehow?

Yes, save the resource as binary and rename to zip.

If anyone has used Blender (the 3d modeling software), it now uses a vectorized UI, so everything can be scaled to any size. Maybe some day Maxthon should adopt this method.

Oooooops! I changed the layout finally.
I have not learn the knowledges about css before so that I failed so many times & I think it's impossible to me. But i did it finally!

Very interesting the lay-out changed. Hide the FavoriteBar was very nice.

It can change the color of gray TabBar to a blue similar to that used in the logo Mx3? It also removes the search field, since the address can be usadso for that too.

uh...modified exe distributing is of course out of the question, we wouldn't want to be responsible for accidental side effects to spread.

However, it does raise another question. The resources will also change from build to build...distributing such mods at this point is ...counter productive?

This seems to be one of those situations where I wish I had used ResHack scripting more often...would make it indeed a bit easier to share a layout mod at this point as you then would only need to run the script on the new build

I like the placement of your turbo/compat button, seems more natural and intuitive than when placed on the right of the address.
Giving ResHack a go, but please no one hold your breath, this may take awhile.

I got rid of all the "hand" shaped cursor when hovering buttons and tabs in my installation, I'm trying right now to make the main toolbar semi-transparent, but it turned out to be more challenging than I thought it would be.
