Show IE8 display mode
Depends on your
settings and the website you visits, IE8 may use Standard, Compatibility, or Quirk mode to render a webpage, and different modes
for different webpages. This
plugin will show which mode IE8 is using for the current webpage.
Switch IE8 display mode
The plugin can change the
rendering mode of http webpages. Similar to IE8's compatibility view function, all pages in the same host will be shown in the new selected mode when visited in future.
Note
- the plugin works only with IE8
installed
- the plugin uses Text Filter to append a compatibility header to webpages, so Text
Filter must be enabled
- changes made with this plugin is applicable only to
Maxthon but not IE nor other IE based applications
- changes made in IE8 is applicable to all IE based applications but will be overriden by this plugin in Maxthon
