View web page video in a detached tab. The video will continue to play after detach without restart. The plugin will auto run after installation, and can be configured to run manually by clicking the plugin button. An icon will be shown in the top right corner of detected video when mouse hover the video.

Re-attach Tab
MX2 cannot re-attach detached tab at the moment. But the plugin can reopen the current url by right click the close button of the video window.

Detect Video
A few webpages load videos after the page is fully loaded so it can show ads etc. The plugin may not be able to detech such videos. In such case you may click the plugin button or switch the tab so the plugin will check again.

Resize Video
Most videos can be resized by resizing the video window, but this depends on the video. Some flash produce blank area around the original video area after resize, you may try right click and select "View All", if presents, to fill the blank area.

Closing Maxthon
Version 1.2.3 can continue to play with Maxthon closed. Note that since the plugin belongs to Maxthon's process and so when Maxthon is closed the process will not exit until the plugin's video window is also closed.

Manual Run
The plugin can be configured to detech videos only when the plugin button is clicked. Add the following to the plugin.ini, or plugin0xYYYY for your language if presents.

It works on any site. Actually the plugin works for <object> which is at least 150x150 with aspect ratio from 0.8 to 2.5.

On the first couple of tries on youtube I got stack overflow and run time errors. Youtube has auto start vids and the icon doesn't show until you stop the video. On the first couple of tries M2 crashed.

I then tried this vid: http://gizmodo.com/5124083/onion ... pples-macbook-wheel (a great vid for all you Apple fans ) It ran great, icon shows on hover.

Back to youtube, now it runs great too! But again, icon only shows when auto started vid is stopped. I like this plugin

Sometimes the event may not fired properly, you may try move the mouse out and then hover the video again.

abc, since people report that the icon sometimes doesn't appear, can you add an alternative option for that? for example, putting an icon/link beneath the video?

Since trying the Jordan vid I have not been able to get the plugin to work at all. The icon does not show at all until you stop video. Once it shows its not even necessary to click it, M2 crashes. Trying to view Apple vid from post #5, tab detaches and remains in background(the entire tab)I've disabled filters, all other plugins and AH.

Right now I'm able to use it on Apple vid and Jordan vid remains stuck in back ground. Could all this be due to a slow machine?
Edit: M2 crashing seems to happen when vid finishes loading while vid is paused.
When the detached tab problem occurs, closing all tabs shows video and detached tab remains in background

But there are a few things i dont like:
If i click the video button not with left mouse button, but for example middle or right one - yes it opens this video, but Maxthon i minimized.
And is it possible to open this video in new tab without closing the current one?

PS: And not related to this plugin, but just want to know - in FF there is a plugin that allows to whatch all the video in new tab in some media player. Is that possible here? (to add a context menu item "open video" or smth like that)

This is a great plugin.

At first use when I detached a video on youtube, the whole tab was detached and not just the video (like you open a new window in IE), so the whole page was open in a new window. (I didn't wait for the video to be fully downloaded.)

Also what does topmost mean?

And finally abc: I see 2.1.5.1869 beta on your screenshot. Is it available somewhere to download?

Yes the plugin detach the whole page instead of the video so the video can continue to play without restart. Topmost means setting the video window always on top of other windows.

I'm not sure what caused the problem. Are you using xp or 98? Which flash version are you using?

Also try copy and paste the following to blank collector tab, press the green arrow to run in the jordon video page and see if the video get a red border when you mouse hover the video:

Yes, the video window is set to topmost by default. Does it work in your case?

If you prefer not to set topmost by default, you can add a line in the plugn.ini (for your translation if presents)
