"Download Now" button @ http://Maxthon.com/download.htm, which was a direct link to mx_2_1_4_443.exe now redirects to Brothersoft ( http://www.brothersoft.com/download-maxthon-75199.html ) .. And when I click "Download Now" link at Brothersoft's page, which is a link to http://www.brothersoft.com/d.php?soft_id=75199&url=http%3A%2F%2Ffiles.brothersoft.com%2Finternet%2Fbrowsers%2Fmaxthon.exe , a Firefox internal warning page is shown and it says that the page I'm trying to connect is a forgery site (see screenshot below)




I wonder if this is true, or a nasty trick of Firefox

Ok, so most likely is blacklisted Brothersoft, not Maxthon.    

However i have downloaded the file, and the download was very slow.

Moreover, i strongly disagree this habit to rename anonymously 'maxthon.exe' the installer.
In this way, the only way to test if it's really the wanted version is to download and install it.

I use MVPS, hpHosts, Mike's, and Lowe's AdServers List, and Brothersoft gets blocked.
