BTW, the language switcher in English page is buggy.

And I plan to add a link to a page contains all available translations and contributors.

Hi,

The new addon site support not only Chinese and English.
You can submit a translation in your language now. The attachment is the template.
You will see some element like

Copy to clipboard

Put the translated text in <target>...</target>.
When you finish, you can change the filename to "messages.your-language-code.xml" and upload it here. We will upload it to Addons site later.

The language code is ISO 639-1 standard. If you are not sure what code is for your language, the best way is to navigate to http://addons.maxthon.com, and you will be redirected to http://addons.maxthon.com/your-language-code.

If you upload a new addon, it will take one day to show. If you update your addon, it will take another.
This cache mechanism can reduce the server load. And if anyone submit a harmful file, we have time to delete it before it is listed publicly

1. It detects the system language, independent of Maxthon's language. So, it will also work in Firefox, IE, Opera, etc.
Is there any problem with the auto-detection?

I find the problem.
If you have logged in, it first checks the language in your Mathon Passport. But many people do not set their language in Maxthon Passport, and then they will be redirected to the English site.

Now, I made a little change and it is fully depended on your system language.

Because the English verion of Maxthon call them Packs, I have to call them Packs on Addons site.

Updated German file. I left the source-language at en_US since it was changed last time.

As suggested in the "[url=viewthread.php?tid=72915&page=1#pid434112]New Addons Site[/url]"thread before, I would very much like see a return of the addons urlfield. Also some more & bigger optional preview pictures would benice.

source-language=en_US means we translated it from American English. If there is not an equivalent translation of a certain sentence, Addons will use the English one instead.

By the way, all languages (language code) are sorted by alpha-numeric order except english and chinese.
