please, for the next time that the installer installs new plugins, skins and text filters, make it an optional (and unmarked) during the installation, so that the user can choose if he wants to use it or not.
other than that, thanks.
The user does have that choice...at least..I got asked on install if I wanted to add the Facebook plugin

(this choice has been there since the day the plugin got added), and I can choose to not use it or remove it...
as to whether these options should be checked or unchecked...come'on...every software installer will always have all the options enabled by default if it has choices, it's not like its that big a deal to select which options you want or not...it's only the one friggin plugin...and the skin isn't even selected by default if you do a fresh install...
About the skin and the medal plugin, you should know better than to expect a Chinese product to offer a choice to NOT promote the biggest, most prestigious happening of this century...

no way they are going to let this go by unnoticed. And I cannot blame them one bit... no matter what else, they achieved something to be proud of, even if we don't all agree with the politics.
Next Time? I know what you meant, but next time the olympics will be held someplace else, so there's not much chance of there being a promotional plugin by that time
PS. Maxthon Team? These skins could do with an English name in the skin selector...
PPS. UFO? I do agree with you though, but that would then be more regarding the add-on modules. I don't care much for the screengraber, the downloader, the guardian and the booster, since I have other tools for this which are not browser dependant, and leaving them in causes conflicts when they accidentally get activated, so I would like to have the option to not install them. Upto now I just killed what I didn't wanted, but it would be nicer to have the choice to disable/enable them during install (like in IEPro)
