IP Address v1.0.0

IP Address v1.0.0

This plugin IP Address v1.0.0 has the option to double click the address to copy the address to the clipboard. It does not do this  in M2 Version  2.1.1.1717 UNICODE. Does this work for anyone else?
Does work fine here.  Maxthon 2.1.1.1717 Unicode as well
(Win XP Pro SP3 + IE7)

I do not see a place to change this in IE7 > internet options.

Try disable local machine lockdown by importing the following registry:
Copy to clipboard
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LOCALMACHINE_LOCKDOWN]
"Maxthon.exe"=-

This did not work.
Copy-and-paste is working O.K. for me, but since I could't find a dedicated thread for this plugin, I thought I'd commandeer this one for my own IP Address Plugin question.

I installed it a few days ago on one computer, and it's been working like a charm there — but I just noticed that it doesn't work on the other PCs on my network, all of which have identical, synced copies of Maxthon.  (It just displays the "Local/Blank Page" message for every site I navigate to.)

All the computers have similar configurtions, and the IE7 install on all of them is identical.  The copies of Maxthon have just been synced, so they too are identical.

On the original PC, the IP Address plugin works for all four different Maxthon accounts, but on the other three computers, it doesn't work on any account.

IP Address is on a custom toolbar with ABC's Zone Manager plugin, as seen here:

Any ideas?

Try manually register the dll "GetIPInfo.dll" inside the plugin folder.
Thanks, ABC!  I'd completely forgotten that it registered a DLL when installed.

If there's any justice in the world, you're a very rich man, Mr. @Home.

IP Address v1.0.0

I installed upgraded to version 2.5.7 this morning and now the IP Adress plug-in has disappeared.  I tried reinstalling it.  I tried registering the getipinfo.dll file but that didn't help.  Anyone else have this problem?

IP Address v1.0.0

Nevermind. I deleted the plug-in and reinstalled it and it's working fine now.
you also just could have right-clicked the toolbar you had it showing on and reselect it, if that does not work the first time you try, go the Setup Center and simply disable the plugin, apply changes, re-enable and apply changes again.

This then should make the plugin appear again in its preferred (default) location.

How exactly are you supposed to register the DLL? Clicking on the Dll only brings up openwith... pop-up, it doesn't seem to be registering anything

Extract the attached register.bat to the plugin folder and double click. It may be necessary to disable UAC to register.

Thanx abc, I somehow got it registered without the bat file.

Of note(although this may already have been fixed in internal versions), once I registered IPaddress, thumbnail previews once again became visible. Thumbnails only previewed the loading icon after first installing IPaddress

Correction: IPaddress actually began to show after I tried to register CPUload   Whether this was because of a restart or something else, I don't know, but its cool with me!!!  Thanx for the file abc, hopefully it will be of help to others
(its also possible I pointed it to the wrong plug-in to begin with)
