This beta version of Maxthon has fixed various minor bugs or flaws reported in 2.0.5, and greatly enhanced the stability of our online services. Yet it is not merely a bug-fix version, we also add some new features like spell-checker, etc. We appreciate your advices and suggestions on these newly added features. Thus, we will be able to further improve them before the final build is released. In this version, there are several major improvements you should never miss. Spell Check – Spell-checker is very useful tool that helps reduce typos. You can popup the context menu in the textbox and select “Spell-check”, and a spell-checking dialog will be opened. Spell checker seems to work well. [] And if I'm not mistaken, the change to the float button is that it appears to the side of the image - most useful. []

ALT+1 (with numlock pressed) STILl opens up the favorite menu, which makes it near impossible to add special characters with the ALT+number combo. ALT+126 should result in a ~ sign for instance.

The weird bug in Magic Fill is still there [] - Uninstalled previous version 2.0.5.7845 keeping configuration. - Installed this beta - All the Magic Fill login data were gone, except URLs! This happens at least since 5 or 6 previous versions, as reported. Not a big problem for me, i know this behaviour and how to easily fix it, overwriting the Form.dat file with a backup copy, but for users not adviced this may cause unrecoverable loss of data. []

Don't use the Left-alt if you have US International layout, only right-alt will work then Yay me! 50th post. Finnaly allowed to change my profile...[]

Hmmm...for me it appears broken... Dual monitor setup, Primary monitor on the right, secondary on the left, Maxthon on left monitor, Float button appears on the right monitor

"Don't show this dialog again" at login not remembered. Steps to reproduce: - File > Switch user account. - Select "Start without account" - Check the box "Don't show this dialog again" - Then the login dialog opens at every further Maxthon start or restart, ignoring the "Don't show again" checkmark.

I have an issue with my online banking website. Usually I open pop-ups not as tab but as a separate window. Those windows start to disappear. That's really, really bad. AD blocker is disabled, btw.

I also have this problem. It shows up after switching user account.

there are a few bugs that i found on this version after installing over the previous version: 1.from some reason, if you open a new tab , you can't switch to the other tabs using the mouse wheel. maybe that's because the focus is on the address bar. 2.the configurations are again set to default. the annoying thing is that even if i delete every key that is set to zoom in, still the CTRL+'+' is set to zoom in .same thing about zoom out and CTRL+'-' . i don't want this to happen, since i use those combinations to use the old way of zooming (using the plugins, ie6 style instead of ie7 style). EDIT: another one: 3.in the "FILE DOWNLOAD" category, each time i go there, my download manager (FDM) is opened, even if i set maxthon not to use it. 4.about the float bar, if the mouse hovers its edges, the mouse icon changes to resizing icon, but it cannot be resized. in fact i think it doesn't do anything.in addition, if you use the ALT+CTRL combination, you must keep it pressed until you choose with the mouse what you want to do. even if the mouse hovers the menu of the float bar it will dissapear if you stopped pressing the ALT+CTRL combination. some things about the spellcheck feature. first i would like to thank you for this . now i can finally remove the iespell plugin which i don't really like. how can i add a button in the toolbar for this feature?how can iis it possible for me to add other languages to the spellcheck? will it be improved to be something like in ie7pro or FF in the future? i hope so. anyway, keep the good work. []

+ More user-friendly Float Button hmmmm - Why not give the user the option to decide on which corner it pops up on.. or make it so it shows up on the corner of the image closest to where the users mouse hovered over the image in the first place.. makes sense doesn't it? - You removed the 'cool factor' from the zoom in/out .. no longer possible to hold the mouse down on the button to get the continuous zooming effect.. now you have to keep tapping the buttons to get those incremental zoom changes.. silly it woudl have been better left the way it was previously so 1 step forward and 2 back built in spell check is actually good.. at least no extra plugins have to be installed.. +1 for getting that done nicely, thats the maxthon spirit.. can we see more better improvements now now I'll shall go back to M1..seeing as I only use M2 these days to actually get automatically logged into Maxthon forums seeing as that is the fastest way.

Another one: Is "focus stealing" back? Even if it&#39;s minimized to systray - as soon as I click a link Maxthon comes immediately to the front ...

"Spell Check" works only for English. Is support of other languages planned (for example - Ukrainian [:smile:] ) ?

Problem was that if you have a slow pc, sometimes click response is slow too, resulting in unending magnification.
