Thanks for the option "Enable Areo Glass effect of Windows Vista" Still don't remember which page it was at when resuming. The text on the address bar is transparent(glass on) And the white flashing border is still there. But great work =)

+ Mouse Gesture customization ( in Gesture Options ) Mhh, missing "Scroll to bottom of page" and "Scroll to top of page" actions for mouse gestures. I use it a lot in Maxthon 1.5. So I hope it will be implemented in Maxthon 2 to.

OK here we go [:smile:] Good things: [] - Nice to see that back/forward is being made faster, I hope it will become as fast as Opera´s if that´s possible. - Plugin Toolbar + plugin autostart is back - Mouse Gesture customization (but it needs more commands like CyGho said) Bad things: [] - Right clicking on browser toolbar-buttons must bring up submenu, not the General context menu! - Favorites Manager has not been improved - In M Options, icons will often not load, only after refresh - Clean Private Data does not clean up data after exit, bug! - "Add to favorites-Folder": Must not show a horizontal toolbar! Make it remember the menu size please. Questions: - Why does M2 need to run regsvr32.exe? - Why isn´t there a double column favorites menu? - "Use enhanced page context menu", what is this all about?

Btw, does anyone know what I need to copy to import my old M2 settings, like Favorites, M Options preferences, URL Aliases and stuff? [] Another bad thing: - The addressbar does not take focus upon start anymore.

Good release, but the only thing I have to ask is that if MSA is disabled by default. Accelerators like this, and google/netzero's, are a bad idea and usually cause more trouble then they are worth. Just my two cents.

It only use the IE cache to speed things up (even more than IE does), so there is no pre-loading or other stuff like google cache, etc. You can turn it off under the advanced section in the Maxthon Setup Center (MSC)

Congratulations to all concerned. From an aesthetic point of view it is a thing of beauty in an increasingly ugly world. Just look at the page for setting mouse gestures - it's a visual dream. Now all I have to do is work out how to use it!

If the content filter is disabled, and you enable it in MSC, the statusbar checkbox is still unchecked.

I repost my impressions from beta test area thread. Problems Also this version freeze and sometimes is impossible close the tabs or scroll the page. After freeze the process remain in memory and CPU at 100% after close. Still without history module. Suggestions The plugins create confusing interface, because often are many, and have icons different to Max skins style. For that in my opinion, the plugins must remain hide in this way; For the toolbar is sufficient add a "plugins" button in the web tools bar for activate in a menu list the plugin modules (same way for the external programs). In this way we have more space without the plugins bar. For sidebar I suggest to create a "plugins" tab with the possibility to select the installed modules in second vertical bar inside the tab area. In this way the GUI remain neat, clear and with a unique style icons. Great work BC. [:smile:]

Everything will not be implemented from 1.x. Many things can be done with plugins and some will be implemented eventually.

Yeh this is a great beta, runs smoother overall compared to the last alpha and is a bit more customizable now... loving the improvements!

I am still having proxy problems. I cannot get out using the "Use IE Proxy settings" option or setting my proxy. In maxthon 1.5.8.116, I amusing that option it is works fine. Peter.
