This plugin shows the weather forecast from weather.com in your Maxthon sidebar.
You can view the weather from nearly every city in the world.

It has support for 5 different cities, detailed weather information, 6 style sheets,
9 icon sets, a lot of customize options and much more!


Notes

If you receive the "This weather feature has been retired" message you have to open the plugin configuration, go the the "Other" tab and checkmark "Use Yahoo Weather For 'Now' Weather".

The older Weather 4.42 plugin is also available.

This plugin does not overwrite Weather 4 or any other Weather Sidebar plugin.

You can install them like any other Maxthon plugin. (restart is not required)

How to install this Maxthon Sidebar plugin

For Maxthon 1.x:
1. Unzip the downloaded file to Maxthon's Plugin folder. (for example in "C:\Program Files\Maxthon\Plugin")
2. Restart Maxthon - the new plugin will be detected and you'll be asked to activate it.
3. Open the sidebar if it isn't already open in "View >> Explorer Bar >> Weather".

You can enable or disable every plugin in "Maxthon Options >> Plugin >> Maxthon Plugin".

There have been quite a few changes in the Language files.


I think it might be easier for the translators if I do some batch-conversions first.

I've uploaded the other languages. They only translate the weather-types, the cities/countries and some other things. I changed the languages files because they became very messy after all those plugin-updates. The current structure is much better and shorter. Download Language files (extract in your Maxthon\Plugin\Weather 5\language directory)

Outstanding job NEO! Only bug I can find is for the wind it says inches instead of miles per hour. Only improvement I can think of is is more icon sets(which I know are on the way).

Add WT_Day=Day in language.ini for 1 day in future days works. but WT_Hour=Hour for 1 and 0,5 Hour in Auto Update don't works.

In Fahrenheit visibility is in inch, better in miles and wind is also in inch, better in mph (miles per hour) The french translation : language0010-weather-5.zip What the hell with the forum, the add file to post have disapear.

For the Pressure reading the data needs to show to two places to the right of the decimal whilst using inches. Thank you.

Never mind: I just found the "showLastUpdate=" line in Settings.ini. For the sake of clarity, this should probably be included in the settings dialog.

I got them from somebody a while ago, but I can't remember who it was. " border="0" alt="whistle.gif" />

I forgot that, but it will be there in the next release.
It will only show the update time for the "today" part, since the update time for the "future" weather is the current time (probably a way from weather.com to make people think it's really up-to-date....)

Geat version neo101, but for me is impossible set my city in the configuration window. This is the error message. [] Solved, the language was set by me in Italian but the file not exist in the plugin, if I leave english all is ok. [] ITALIAN LANGUAGE TRANSLATION IN PROGRESS.

It could be because the config page is cached.
Try this: switch to English and back to German.
