I agree with FreeODB - the "Report to author" info may be very helpful here. And scanning the PC is a must for sure

Tara,
I turned off plugins and ad blocker and no help.
I uninstalled Maxthon and installed MyIE2. Same thing although I used MyIE2 with the MSN Money Portfolio before their upgrade with no problem. In MyIE2 it flashes MyIE2 has blocked an error before it goes to never land. So it isn't you that is the new variable it is them. Of course the MS in MSN stands for you know who and they don't care if we can't use a browser other than IE. In fact...
As I was writing this the first time my computer rebooted. Pretty scary, huh. That's why I went back to MYIE2 but found the same problem (crashing not rebooting). Well, I can't give up Maxthon. I'll just have to quit opening MSN Money portfolio in it. See if you can shape up Microsoft.
PS The MSN money pages don't crash, only after you have downloaded and opened the "deluxe" portfolio (which for what its worth requires being logged in to MS Passport).
Thanks a lot for the feedback plparson

Yes, I've read a few similar reports in the MyIE2 forums
[link] and they also mentioned the fact that it stopped working after their latest upgrade. But the weird thing is that their site still seems to work fine for many people!
So - one major question - what
is "the deluxe portfolio"? Is that an IE plugin? If so, then this is the culprit I suppose...
EDIT: Updated link to the MyIE2 Forum.
