I tried both
1. manual entering
and
2. adding from favorites.

Results:
1. the add new dial dialogue allows to enter Chinese, but turns ??? in SpeedDial tab.
2. Adding from favorites results in ???　either.

UPD: Version 3.0.5 works fine...
Bugs were on the version, downloaded yesterday (3.0.7).

Feature request: stretch or tile background image.

No, not at all. I renamed the "Maxthon2" folder to "Maxthon2.x" and moved it from its original location to another spot and it worked.

Hello all.
I have just created new page to my speed dial
And... I wanted to set only 3 pages inside...
One row - three columns...
But, what strange... I can't

You just can't set less then two columns and/or two rows.
Why? If someone would like to have even one speed dial thumbinal.. why he ccan not do this?? 9 is some kind of special  number? :P

It is set to 3x3 minimum. Maybe you can hide the unused dials.

Yes, I know this. The speeddial page in in 3.0.9 moves outside viewable area instead of turning invisible when switch to other tabs. I find this less flickering when the speeddial page is shown again. But the more options plugin cannot show it.

Though the control is good, I believe it has quite a few bugs. I am loving the new way of speed dial, having category will help organizing links. I have observed:
- On clicking any link; opens the site, however another speed dial gets open.
- Preview are not refreshed, hence no preview of site available
- Opening setting, opens a new speed dial

Well, then why does Speed Dial and More Options2 work for me in this version?

The reason Speed Dial doesn't work for many is not that support for Com/IE plugins has been removed (which it was in the betas, but returned in version 4075) but that the plugins needed to be updated to work properly with the 2.5.x series of browsers. Abc has done this but has only posted them so far on the private channel (do you remember this now, Ntzphyr. Check out the Private Channel) Hopefully, abc will make them available to all soon.

This release was screwed up from the start and should never have been released to the general public because they didn't get all the ducks in a row before posting it, like having these plugins available and notification that they are available and are necessary for these new builds. Sorry, forTune, that you were left in the dark (though I had no control over it) and I'm sure many others will waste our time on this forum complaining about things such as this that could have been avoided with some simple patience and notifucations.

COM/IE plugins are disabed in 2.5.1 beta but are subsequently enaled. But the current Speed dial version is not compatible with 2.5.1 and I will release an update soon.

The first post is updated with the new version which is compatible with 2.5.1.

It still has some problems/flickers in 2.5.1. Will be adjusted along with 2.5.x.
