For the problem you are encountering,we suggest you to upgrade to the latest Maxthon Cloud version http://forum.maxthon.com/thread-2543-1-1.html ,
it's more stable and has got new features.You might like it.
If you have a Maxthon account,after updating to the latest version,you just need to log into your account and all your settings,saved passwords,favorites,browsing history...will be synced without any problems.
Also,you can first copy app-data file under %appdata%--Roaming--Maxthon3--users--your account ,just in case to avoid losing your data,before upgrading to the lasted version.
