I have come back to Maxthon2 and have really enjoyed it over the last few days . I would like to change the color of the font in the iBlack skin to #38FF7F which is a green rather than white . TIA for your help

You'll be wanting to change the following: Caption.Text= (This is the upper left border title text color) Toolbar.Normal.Text= (This is the file menu and status bar text color except tool tips, which I've yet to discover) Tab.Normal.Text= (The color of tab titles) These are the basic colors. Experiment with the variants of these like hover. active, and disabled to get what you want them to do under those conditions. If you like black skins, have you tried WMP11?

Hi and welcome to the forum hotjay!  

Yes, this is an old link, not working. From the forum main page click on resourses, then skins. You should find everything you need.
If your feeling a little adventurous, you might try abc@homes skin maker. You can import the skin into skinmaker, and make your changes manually. Nice program and easy to use

I would hold off on editing skins if statusbar text does not seem readable if I were you

ntzphyr's suggestion is one to remember though, normally speaking he would be correct, but in this case he's overlooking one minor detail, there exists currently a bug in the last couple of beta's where the skin specified statusbar text color does not get applied. This will be fixed in the next forum/public release so that iBlack will again show the statusbar text in white as it is supposed to do.

The status bar text color problem should be fixed in next version of Maxthon
