Sorry even changing UA back to 109 doesn't completely solve problem. It just allows you to go one level further into the website. You can't enter the shop.
Try clicking on "Shop all Les Paul" or Shop Now" on this page.

It`s the same BUG
Confirmed
This is because of the way they forced the UA
Just revert it back to 109 and restart the browser this fixes it2 hours ago, Magdalene said:https://www.gibson.com/ no longer functions with MX. It can't open Shop or any Guitar models pages.
This is also due to UA

Hello!
Re. "Supermium" (above) - Windows XP, Vista, 7, etc compatible, latest Chromium browser fork...
This clearly isn't a huge/major company developing this project, but 3 points I'd like to bring to your attention:-Turnaround for major vulnerability patches generally less than one week from upstream disclosure
-Google Sync
-On Windows 7 and up, Widevine CDM support for viewing DRM contentIf they can do it, so can you (Maxthon).
Sorry, but I just don't believe you when you say Google aren't replying to you when you requested Widevine - obviously, even if they had a backlog, this has been ongoing for YEARS & you can't simply ignore it, Maxthon MUST have Widevine support.
These people, who aren't well known, have it, so Maxthon, who are internationally known for over 20 years, certainly should have it too.
Whatever the real reason for not having it, get over it as it's preventing anyone who wants to stream DRM content from using Maxthon.
If a user can't use a browser for all web content, they'll simply change to another that does work.
All you're doing here, not updating the core & being compatible, is lose ever more users!Bingo
aimed and hit the bull's eye
I won't say I'll ever abandon Maxthon cause I started loving it since MyIe days and continued to love and support it
So we loyal users say this because we care
When are you Devs going to listen to us
We're with you in good and bad times so please please please
take the time to think about it carefully
The path you're taking is only shortlived.
Think about making Maxthon the browser all competing browsers try to follow not the opposite- 3

Hi Dyba, could you send me your log file and I will ask the development team to check for you.
It's always advisable to ask for operating system and version and whether it's installed or portable
most of the time it's operating system related issue
and it's a good way for other members running the same specs to participate in the issue to be sure it's not user specific issue2 minutes ago, Mhzayer said:It's always advisable to ask for operating system and version and whether it's installed or portable

I've installed Qihoo 360 Total Security 100s of times on customers computers in the past & even used it myself for a while, but since they dropped Bitdefender & then Avira scanning engines, I can't really recommend it anymore... It's saving grace however, is the sandbox, so as long as you don't allow anything to run that you don't recognize, then you would probably be fine (run scans with ADWCleaner, HitmanPro & AutoRuns (with VirusTotal lookup)).
For me, what I've seen with Maxthon before, is old settings affecting a new installation, even showing something different on the menus or screen.
Quickest test would be to backup your current Maxthon folder, uninstall it (using HiBit Uninstaller to show/remove 'leftovers'), restart Windows & then reinstall Maxthon.
If that doesn't work, then implies Windows issues (assuming you've already tested your SSD/HDD & RAM).Thanks for the advices

Loads ok for me in Maxthon (reports: 581/594)
Could be a plugin (but would need to have same one installed on all browsers!) or anti-virus/firewall issue... what security do you use?
(could also be issue with ISP, but less likely)I'm using 360 total security
never had any issues with it on that site (the old site) I guess -

Hi Mhzayer, could you try on the attached test version and see if issue persist?
It is still doing the same it saves the mouse gesture and continue it on other tabs
It does that in Chrome too
-
The mouse when using the middle scrolling wheel then trying to use the mouse in any other tabs it will make gestures that would send you somewhere else

Hello!
That sounds good, but you've said much the same for the last year, so that implies you've been repeatedly working on the 'then' current version, not releasing it & starting all over again when the next version was released!Since EVERY other browser (at least all the ones I've heard of) include the latest core not long after release, even the 'little ones', surely Maxthon can/should do the same?
You always say the 'development team' are working on it, but even if the 'team' consisted of just one person, in the 15 months since v109 was released, they've had plenty of time to incorporated a newer core!
In the past, Maxthon was first to market with pretty much all major browser innovations & that's why you built up such a dedicated following, but leaving the core so far behind (I assume just to keep the few Windows 7 & 8 users happy), is losing users, who have no choice but to change to another browser, as Maxthon is too old to be safe or compatible now!
Luckily, I'm not yet one of them as the websites I goto are, at least currently, still working, but for how much longer!?
Yes they're working but not hard enough
upgrading to the latest core must be their first and most priority
just trying to fix bugs and adding unimportant features made Maxthon just another browser
when alas it used to lead the competition- 4

Hello!
What's changed between 7.1.8.6600 & 7.1.8.6601?
Obviously not Chromium 109 to something newer!
I hope, when one fine day you actually do update the core, it will be to the current version at time.
Today, 20 February 2024, v122 is released as stable, so 'hopefully', that's the one you've been working on!?We still hope
what a beautiful dream- 1

Haven't you fixed the synchronization problem yet?
I think it's not happening to everyone
It's for specific people -

Video download does not work for me. Video just stays "In Queue" but nothing happens.
Devs should have already accepted that their video downloader is a waste of time
They should just implement a known and working one instead- 5

Text in QA page search bar is illegible when the background is white.
Slightly better when darker shades are used but still hard to make out.
Only legible when background colours are extremely dark.
Maybe white text on white background is not such a good idea? Or reduce the transparency on the search bar?
looks OK with me
I'm on win11 installed version

Still can't get .6200 X64 exe to install even with Antivirus disabled. Update from .6001 doesn't work either. Go I need to go back to .6000? X64 Portable works fine.
Here is the setup file extracted from the above x64
I think you need to experiment with it
the compressed chrome folder is so huge to upload here -

-here is the page with the video
https://ru.tv/video/54041f39-3381-4fa6-8b7f-d2ac8e5c8e5c
-this download link is given by mx5
http://cache-rmg.servicecdn.ru/rmg/streaming_rutv/video/GagarinaPolina__Nagadai_9.mp4
-this is the link for mx7
https://ru.tv/video/54041f39-3381-4fa6-8b7f-d2ac8e5c8e5c
... that's why it doesn't downloadI could download the video with Maxthon downloader
But was so slow and the file size was way bigger like a 100 mb more than what IDM got and video downloader extensionIt's not downloading the actual file just getting it streamed to a capture device wich results in a distorted file not as smooth as the original

It could be a none completed download
Download the same file from a different source
