    Hi Ben,

Sorry for late reply...which may cause you much inconvenience...

Follow these instructions for seamless browsing:

    1. Sign in into your Maxthon Passport account to share things you find on the web
    2. Select the media element you wish to download.  *It can be a link/tab/video/picture/text
    3. Right click and select ‘Cloud Push’
    4. Select the destination device connected to you Maxthon Passport or type in a mobile number or e-mail address
    5. Press OK and away it goes

*If you share the content with one of your Maxthon Passport devices, you will get a notification to let you know you received it.

*If you prefer to download without track, you can change your general settings to ‘do not upload any download files to cloud

Hope it could be workable for you!

in 4.9 this feature has been removed, it only exists in 4.4... :(

"MX 5.0 Series (Updated 24th July 2016)"   Are these supposed to be clickable links for download?

I have just a question or two.  No problems, bug wise, as to MX5 on new Dell laptop with Windows 10 Pro, Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Lollipop 5.1.1, or my Asus Memo Pad 8 181c tablet running KitKat 4.4.2....

copy/paste the text here (I would not recommend to change the default user agent, unless you have a rendering issue on a website).

Meanwhile I removed all settings and plugins and started from scratch. So far it looks good. Maybe really a plugin caused that trouble, even I disabled all of them, except the build in ones. Or it is related to the Maxthon upgrade history since I use that browser for a very long time already. As next step I'll start enabling the 4 additional plugins again to verify them.

    Edit:

Hmm, while installing the previously saved plugins again I found twice a Maxthon search plugin v1.2.4 but with different size and file name under ...\Maxthon3\Users\guest\Addons Maybe that was the problem.

this search extension is supposed to work with google search, not search in the page, I can't figure out how it could be related with your issue, but who knows.

anyway if you remove it, it will be back next update, and since it's enabled by default, I would just leave it there but disabled !

Hello, ody. don't know how to duplicate this issue. how to go the screen of the below picture?

    click where can go here?

you won't get this picture using maxthon, that's the issue !

just test the link above with another browser and wait( loading takes a long time), and you should get this screen, using maxthon you will get a warning instead
