• App Store doesn't download updates

    I installed Maxthon two days ago, and I like it. However, while the App Store applet says that I have 3 apps to update, the applet claims to be connecting, but nothing ever happens. I'm well within Wi-Fi range now (I'm writing this!).

    How can I get the freeware apps to download from within Maxthon App Store?

    Additionally, the freeware apps it claims should be updated don't seem to agree: when I open those apps (MikTex, Spybot, and WinDirStat), they all say I have the latest version.
