It won't happen until they're forced to do it & since that's unlikely, not hopeful anytime soon! As soon as a 'popular' or 'must have' service needs newer than 109 core, that'll be the last straw for most users, which is a shame as I've personally used & recommended Maxthon for over 20 years & have installed it on thousands of computers over that time. As a matter of interest, does anyone know what cores they're using for Android, macOS & iOS versions? Hello! Oke... I've seen thing in multiple threads, the request to update the Core... I haven't said much about this THEN but it's NOW becoming a problem with my employer as well... Maxthon PC 7.1.8.8201 is Chromium 109... At work 117 is now a mimimum. So I can no longer use Maxthon Please fix this ASAP!

Hello! After (manual) installation, I got this: Should it be prompting twice for Bright VPN!? Also, when Maxthon restarted, it did so minimized to taskbar (by the clock) & when double clicking that icon, I wasn't signed in & had to select my account to continue.

Hi, The team is working on some criticl updates recently including the improved, more stable syncing service, updating browser engine etc etc. The super bookmark is among the most important features and those bugs will be fixed. It just takes some time for a small team to handle all these. Meanwhile if you are not happy with the super bookmark, you know you can always switch back to the classic bookmark system.

I agree that if Maxthon are going to make a Super bookmarks extension then it should work well. But I am curious about the choice to use Maxnote for bookmarking, is there are particular reason to use it instead of the regular bookmarks?

I run a daily backup of the history file and keep the copies for a month. This is following some episodes where the history was disappearing due to corruption of some sort. The path on my PC is \Maxthon7\MaxthonPortable\User Data\Profile1\History. I also save the file History-journal as well just in case it is needed. The zipped size together is less than 30MB

Hello. Regarding problems with bookmark synchronization. On version 7.1.8.8000 the synchronization process is successful. But in reality the bookmarks are not synchronized. Those. no changes occur, although the synchronization status is successful.
